Who can apply?

Anyone can apply who is 18 or over. Applicants under 18 needs the parents authorization.



What is IAC´s Card? How can I use it?


IAC´s Card is a prepaid debit card that affiliated to the MasterCard circuit that can be recharged and used to buy in all shops, restaurants, bars, online or anywhere displaying the MasterCard logo anywhere in the world.
IAC´s Card can also be used to make cash withdrawals in all ATM’s around the world displaying the MasterCard logo.
The Card is "for electronic use only" and therefore can be used online, but only after checking your balance/funds availability which is done in real time.
In addition, the IAC´s Card has all the characteristics of an online current account and allows you to receive/issue money orders, pay your utility bills and also make money transfers in real time to other holders of IAC´s Card. IAC´s Card does not allow you to go in to debt, you cannot spend money that is not on the card. IAC´s Card does not pay interest on the money that is on the card. The maximum card balance is 10,000 Euro.
The IAC´s Card is a personal rechargeable debit card that is issued as a ‘Lite’ version without identification but as a ‘full’ card can only be granted after the relevant identification of the applicant has been made in accordance to the monetary laws and regulations.
To obtain a IAC´s Card please follow the instructions in “how to get it and activate it” which details the simple process needed which for the ‘full’ card includes the documentation that must be acquired.
IAC´s Card has a one time issuing cost and a small monthly fee for account handling and small additional charges for specialized transactions/requests, eg. money transfers which are considerable cheaper than most other options. The additional fees are only related to the operations you request, there are no hidden costs!
Your IAC´s Card account is handled through the Customer's reserved area that may be accessed from the IAC´s Card website, which provides a true Internet banking system completely free

Is IAC´s Card a debit or credit card?

IAC´s Card is in reality a pre-paid debit card, but has the characteristics that many associate to credit cards. The only exception is that the funds available depend on how much is left on the pre paid account… think of it like a pay-as-you-go mobile. You load money on to your IAC´s Card and each time you use your card, the value of the purchase is deducted from the funds available. Therefore, you can only make purchases with your IAC´s Card if you have sufficient funds available.

When do I receive my card?

As soon as your application has been received and approved, your card will be sent to you within a few days.

What do I need to do once I receive my card?

As soon as you receive your prepaid card you must clearly sign it on the back in the box highlighted 'authorised signature'. Activation instructions are shown in the card carrier explaining how to activate your card through the IAC´s Card website before any funds can be up-loaded. Card activation is also possible by phone calling the customer service number 0039 199 24 27 27.

Once you have done the wire, it's necessary to send an e-mail to info@mobilmat.it and office@iac-shop.biz with the details of the wire (ordinant, beneficiary, amount, card number to be recharged, name and issuing bank name )

What are recharging costs?

IAC´s Card charge a recharge fee to the holder of the card to cover administration and operating costs. There may also be another fee depending upon how you recharge the card, for example by banks if the recharge is made by money order or by the Post Office if the recharge is made by postal order.

OOn the back of IAC´s Card there is a space for my signature, why?

The holder must sign the Card as soon as they receive it. The signature is important because it is a requirement for identification reasons whenever the card is used for a POS transaction and therefore helps to prevent any illegal or unauthorized use.
Some shops etc may also ask the card user/holder to present some form of document to assist the identification.

What is the CVC2 code of the IAC´s Card? Where do I find it? What is it used for?

The CVC2 is a 3 digit security code that is printed on the back of the Card. It usually requested when buying online or over the telephone. Since this code is used to authorise online transactions it is important to keep it safe and to not disclose it to anyone.

What is the Mastercard PIN?

The MasterCard PIN is a secret numeric code composed of 5 digits and is needed for ATM services and cash withdrawals that show the MasterCard circuit logo. The code is personal and must never be revealed to anyone since any withdrawals made with your card and with your PIN can never be disputed. To get your MasterCard PIN enter the reserved area and click on the GENERAL menu, then OPEN SERVICE CONTRACT and then click on "ATM PIN".

How can I prevent anyone from using my IAC´s Card?

You can activate a real time SMS notification service that informs you of all card transactions. You can activate and deactivate this service from client reserved area on the IAC´s Card website.

What can I do if I realize that somebody has cloned and/or is fraudulently using my card?

You must immediately block the card by calling 0039 199.24.3535 and then contact the customer services on 0039 199 24 27 27 to get a new card.

Are Customers Service numbers toll free?

No, they cost €0.15 per minute to call from a landline phone (check with your mobile operator for call charges). This minimal charge is to keep all other costs as low as possible, so that only the people needing the service pay for it. Online banking and assistance via email for example remain free of charge.

How can I transfer money in real time?

You can transfer money in real time 24/7/365 to any other IAC´s Card using the online client reserved area or by calling 0039 199 24 27 27.

Why does my card not work?

Your card may not work for a number of different reasons:
- Your card has not been activated.
- Your card is damaged and the magnetic stripe or chip cannot be read.
- You no longer have any funds available on your card.
- The card has been blocked for security reasons.
- Your card has expired. Check the expiration date.

Should I expect to receive a monthly statement?

If you want you can receive monthly statements sent to your address by requesting it though the IAC´s Card website in the client reserved area.
